Since I couldn't remember whether it was on LJ or not, I posted my latest fic oblivion to 0kingdom-hearts and khfanfiction. Aside from several nice, normal, squee-worthy comments, I also received this comment by someone called animejournal2:

Ay least she isn't saying "F*** YOU AND DIE B**** or something to that nature, but I am calling troll. Not a particularly nasty one, but a bit of a pest. Good luck dealing with it dear!

Yeah, this seems to be more annoying than the kind of troll you mentioned. It's like a puppy, only not fuzzy or adorable and it won't listen to anything I say with an inkling of rational thought. And it doesn't even have the excuse of not being able to talk (or type, as the case may be).

I'll just tell her to leave me alone.

hmm, I would be hesitant to call troll.
I would think they were simply stupid.

One person I critiqued went on about how even though I 'totally flamed' her story I was awesome because I was apparently British.

I wouldn't know what to think either. Could be stupid, could be pulling your leg. Either way I guess the best thing to do is ignore it.

Also, either way, I can understand being offended by it. No one likes to have their work misunderstood or laughed at.

The thing that bothers me is that they sound like they have no gorram idea what they're talking about, and more importantly don't seem to CARE. It disturbs me that there are actually people like that.
