He has such a one-track mind at times. :| What do I want, and how can I get it. It doesn't matter who he has to destroy or what he has to do to get it--in general, if he wants something, he'll make it work, come hell or high water. I agree with this rant. It really annoys me when writers completely ignore everything substantial about the characters in order to turn them into fluffy little bunnies. Especially when they try to justify it. *headdesk* I mean, there is such a thing as alternate character interpretation but when you're turning a sadist and a bastard into martyrs YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

Also OT: I never really saw Marluxia as a power hungry bastard myself. I mean he is a power hungry bastard, but I always thought he was doing stuff that way because he knew that Xemnas's plan of 'summon Kingdom Hearts so that my various lives ambitions can finally be fulfilled I can take it as my own Heart and become a God I can finally prove I'm better than that sentimental old bastard we can get our hearts back!' wasn't really in his best interests. Or that he knew that the Organization was responsible for his current stuation and felt some lingering hatred.

Anyway, TL;DR= Marluxia is a power hungry bastard, but I don't think it's for the sake of power itself.

I did once ask a friend to write AU fic where Larxene was raising Namine, just because I wanted to see how twisted Namine could get and still be believable.
Because honestly, no child Larxene raises will ever be a normal ball of sunshine.
