On Roxas' Personality

I don't get it.

How does Roxas = 'asshole'? In the entire game, the closet to such a thing is his "no one would miss me" line, and even then, that's one line. It's sad, isn't it? And just about every Roxas I've seen lately, particularly in a certain community for KH journals, has been that way. o_o

Actually, I've seen a lot of Roxae along those lines, so it no longer surprises me. And - I must admit - he's definitely not the worst that's come out ofkingdomdressing so far.

By the way, do you have AIM?

Yeah, it's not so bad if it's AU or something, I guess, as some of those AUs are interesting, but when people make every single one, even canon Roxae like that, it's a bit much. I still like kingdomdressing, as there's great people there, but sometimes it does feel like people like 'asshole' muses too much.

Well, I'd say he would posess a certain edge of coldness in the Organization, but that comes with the black trenchcoat, probably. Nobodies are usually distant-y when they're not trying to screw with people's heads.

I wouldn't say he's a vocal asshole, I'd say he's more of the cold type. Possibly glares a bit and is just generally unsociable. At the start of his Nobody-life, he was probably a helluva lot confused and Nobody or not, he was still a kid and recognized other kids.

Over his year in the Organization, it may have warped his personality a bit, too.

Yeah, that's true. I can see him slowly being warped and probably a bit angry at the idea of being the Organization's pawn. Plus, Roxas experiences feelings, unlike the other Nobodies, so that could confuse him, most likely. (It's even said in Final Mix that he might have a heart, so...)

Mm... well, I played Final Mix, but...

*thinks* It's not so much that *he* has a heart, but he has a Somebody and that Somebody has a heart. And he's more emotionally stunted, I think--because he has no memory of emotion or a prior life.

^_^ That being said, I can't see him being an outright asshole.

Yeah. From what I've seen, Roxas is usually portrayed as too nice, or just too bitter.
