A recent trip to Youtube does weird things to me. Specifically, trips to KH AMV sections do weird things to me. Let's see, here are my thoughts

I admit it, I look up those "character theme" videos from time to time because I like the idea for some reason, but when half of the songs tend to be fairly interchangeable Linkin Park numbers, it gets me irritated. There's so much more to the Organization than "angry angst!"

...Speaking of AMVs, does anyone know where I can find KH video clips that will download onto a Mac?

I just have to say, I use Windows Movie Maker because I have no money for fancy video-editing programs. (Yet. Photoshop comes first, then video-editing programs)

But yeah, I hardly watch AMVs unless they've been rec'ed.
Except for this one Organization AMV set to "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. That one is just ten million levels of lulz-y awesome. Ahaha.

I (and many others) use WMM because I can't afford anything better. I only use flashes and fades anyway, relying more on timing and clips than effects.
I completely agree with your #1. It pains me so much when someone simply puts a song to the KH2 Intro, and says "Hey guys, I made an AMV! It only took fifteen minutes!" And then they even get all this good feedback, while I'm sitting here spending weeks/months (slow worker) trying to match the lyrics and get the timing just right. >:(
Finally, I too am hoping for more variety in the AMVs/fan-vids in this fandom. Not even variety, just more talent would be enough.
