Come on, Larxene!
A recent trip to Youtube does weird things to me. Specifically, trips to KH AMV sections do weird things to me. Let's see, here are my thoughts.
One. IF I SEE ANOTHER VIDEO OF THE KINGDOM HEARTS OPENING UNEDITED WITH A POP SONG SET TO IT, I WILL STAB SOMEONE IN THE FOREHEAD WITH THIS BIG PENCIL.
The main point of creating AMV's is taking clips and splitting them, to make a gorgeous piece of visual and audio candy. Not to set the opening to Avril's latest song. I don't care if the timing and words are right. Be more creative.
Two. THERE ARE OTHER PROGRAMS APART FROM WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER.
I know Windows Movie Maker is the easiest thing to use. But after seeing at least 100 vidoes created from the program, you'd get tired from the lack of variety and effects and editting. You'd be marginally surprised at how well editted KH AMV's look good. Hell, even the overly-used High School Musical songs are made to look good once properly editted. Be more creative.
Three. WHERE'S THE VARIETY, PEOPLE?
I'm tired of Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Linkin Park and poorly-made crack vids. I don't care if it's Namine, Larxene, Olette, Kairi's Grandmother of your mom who is the Motherfucking Princess. I don't care if Axel's hips don't lie, or that Sora and Riku are singing that they're gay for each other.
There are a lot more songs out there. Shouldn't the fact that at least 2000 people have already done the song to KH gives you the idea to not make ANOTHER one? Even Disney songs can be properly done. The trick is being creative.
And old songs? I grew up listening to old music, and I was quite disappointed to see no one uses them a lot, but Eminem, Usher and other modern rappers that doesn't have a single coherent thought into their songs get the attention.
That's why you can imagine my delight when I found THIS little gem: LET ME SHARE THE BEAUTY WITH YOU.
This is what I was saying. And let me explain why it's GODLY. The editting is SUPERB. She had successfully matched each song to a character without being OOC, and the effects are amazing. And YAY, no crappy pop music!
