Uh, I'll argue that. Granted, the stories that were introduced were a bit darker - face it, Simba's angsting over Mufasa is DEEP SHIT (it IS Hamelt, after all), and it's not your standard fluffy disney luff

Maybe even a world or two. :D And no it is not because I hate Disney What I really hate is Nomura shamelessly screwing around with the personalities but because variety is always appreciated. When I say tacked-on it's because the Disney worlds in KH1 had plots Sora walked into that already involved the Heartless and Ansem and stuff.

In KH2 the Heartless and nobodies have nothing to do with the world's problems; they just recycled movie plots for EVERY SINGLE ONE. D:

Now, see, I noticed that too, and I liked it. When I bought KH1, I was hoping for the plots from the movies to be there, and they weren't. I was immensely happy that the plots made it into KH2.

But to each his own. Luckily, it looks like we're getting both Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty worlds in the next one so MAYBE we won't have any more Atlantica!

And Gargoyles remains, in my personal opinion, one of the greatest TV shows I've ever seen. And it was Disney.

The simple fact is that without Disney, Kingdom Hearts wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts. Regardless of the general idea that Disney is light-hearted and fun, even as a child I understood that there was more going on below the surface. Maleficient is still one of my favorite villains of all time.

but KH2 didn't give you any attachment to them; it felt like Nomura wanted to focus more on his own characters, but had the obligation to add Disney. Thus the rushed/rehashed movie worlds.
