Too bad I know shit-all about X-Files or I would be happy to write it up.

And to be honest, I can see a few possibilities where KH and Bones would work. xDDD The problem is a lot of fan authors don't put in the thought and effort it would take to make obscure crossovers like that work.

Take CSI for example. Normal canon, of course, doesn't involve Heartless and Nobodies and what have you. But this is where the author can get creative. Grissom could be investigating a Nobody-related attack on a town to find out if it's individual work or an "organized crime group". Catherine could be dealing with the darkness taking hold of her daughter's heart because of her mother's absence and her father's... well, Eddie-ness.
I'm probably giving bad examples cuz my brain is fried, but the point is that it can work. It might take a little tweaking and a lot of dedication, but it can work.
Besides, admitting not everything can work would be admitting that Artax isn't the lost member of the Organization. He didn't die, he just got sucked into the darkness. NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE D:

But then again, most fanfic authors that take those crazy crossover ideas and make them work probably are too.
