Oh, exactly. The thing I love about Aerith -speaking strictly FFVII for the moment- is that she's not this white and fluffy angel a lot of fandom make her out to be. She's definitely got a wicked streak to her, and it really brings out her character. She's got her moments, but she has her flaws too- and she's better for it.
Who else could make Cloud cross-dress like that? I call that passion X3

That was classic. I kept cracking up at that scene.
But c'mon, Leon. How hard is it to put in the disc? Aerith figured that out in, like. Five seconds. ;3

Aerith's definitely not useless, weak, or dumb. I really wish she had more interaction with the party in KHII, though, other than just, "Hi, I'm waiting for Cloud. :)", as the Trinity doesn't really see her uploading the virus or Curing Yuffie. It happens, but Sora & Co. don't encounter it themselves. Which is a bummer. D;

Yeah, that irked me a bit. "Hay guyz, I'll just be waitin' for Cloud, you just go do your thing!"
And now that you brought it up, that sucks that Sora and Friends didn't actually see her being awesome for the bits that she was in the second game. Wtfery.

I mean, obviously she'd have been doing something else, but for Sora, that was it. Come to think of it, he wasn't even there in the first game when she was giving the skinny on Ansem and the Heartless. He received the info from Leon and Yuffie.

Sora = deprived in terms of Aerith's awesomeness. ;~;

That one I just don't get. "AERITH IS RUINING MAH OH-TEE-PEE SO I MUST DESTROYZ HER!/1?!?!?!1/1?1one?!1eleventy!". Where do these people come up with this crap?

never thought about that pairing, hmmm. got any fic about it? I'd like to see.

I admit that I never cared much for Aerith.

Right up to the moment where she came to the computer room place with Cid's program to eradicate the MCP. That look she gave Leon, and her attitude towards the MCP as she uploaded the program... I was sold! Completely sold. And no crummy VA could ruin that.

To be fair, I wholly admit that I'm biased, since I'm an Aerith fangirl. I try to hide that fact, though, since hardcore crazy!fangirls seem to give a poor name to us hardcore somewhat-sane!fangirls.

But I do agree with you- if I wasn't already an Aerith fan, that scene alone would have made me one on the spot. X3

Oh, wordywordmcword. She's not useless by any stretch of the imagination. Though yeah, I've always been really irked by what KH2 did to Aerith and Tifa. There's more to life than Mr. Angsty McBadass. But that's a whole different rant.

She definitely has her moments of awesome in KH. And she's been my favorite Final Fantasy girl ever since she put Cloud in a dress. X3

That's a rant that I'm going to leave for someone who is more eloquent than I to discuss. If I were to do it, it'd probably just be filled with expletives and arm flailing. XD

And yeah- she definitely rocks the socks of most characters. Poor Cloud~
