On the Subject of Crossovers.

I am SICK of seeing crossovers with Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, whatever happens to be playing on Adult Swim at the moment, Harry Potter, [insert overwhored series (in terms of crossover usage) here]. Contrary to popular belief, there ARE other worlds that are available for crossover, and ones that could benefit from the attention.

I would only read a Bleach/KH crossover if it was done well. I like the comparison of Heartless and Hollows, but knowing FFN, there's probably only badfic of it. =\

Final Fantasy Unlimited would be an ideal crossover. It's not well-known since it's a standalone FF anime series and not a game, but it deals with a world-consuming monster and a journey through different fragments left over from various "outer worlds" that are connected to an "inner-world", and about half of the show has the characters travelling between those fragments via a train. (Though I admit I didn't understand the entire concept the first time through, so perhaps a second time will help.)

Redwall would be fun just for the heck of it. (Mouse!Sora FTW.)

...Sailor Moon, yes yes yes. Come ON, the whole third season was about HEARTS. x_x While the series was prettified beyond all prettifications (SPARKLES! PINK! NEEDS MOAR PINK!), you've gotta admit that it covers all the bases and fits with KH.

The Neverwhere crossover that was posted recently made me very happy as well. <3

But I would like to remember the authors that THERE ARE FIVE SEASONS ( not to mention the movies ), not only the first one. All ( of the few ) Sailor Moon/Kingdom Hearts crossovers I've read were first season crossovers.

Geeeese, yes, the Dark Kingdom is made of wonderful, win and awesome. But we also have Ail and Ann, the Black Moon, the Death Busters, the Dead Moon and the Shadow Galatica, not to mention the villains from the movies ( I'm only familiar with Fiore, though *runs* ).

They crossover series with Harry Potter too fucking much. It's crossed over with FMA all the time! Just because they both have the Philosipher's Stone. Feh. I bet there's at least 5 stories in each fandom that have crossed over with Harry Potter.

I keep having problems with whether Hollows are heartless or nobodies, so I'm keeping that world off my list for the moment.

Hmmm... good one. I'd say Hollows are most like distorted Nobodies who have gone insane and act like Heartless.

XD; YGO is what actually got this plunnie rolling, since a few friends of mine are huge into the fandom (the saner side, thankfully) and keep making comparisons between the 'heart of the cards' and the whole 'Yugi's other self' thing and KH...That and I think they just want an excuse to design a 'Millenium Keyblade'.

How do the Shinigami factor into it as well? They and hollows are connected, sonce they both came from humans at some point, but to make it fit Nomura logic...
