Dear, dear fanbrats perfectly respectable members of the fandom, Donald and Goofy do indeed exist. AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CHARACTERS. In fact, they're probably bordering on Mickey-esque levels of importance. Just look at the Throne Room of Disney Castle. See those two colossal would have taken years top craft statues? Guess who they are.

Uy. I admit that, in the main fic I'm working on, lately I keep running into them just as an afterthought. Like as I'm planning the big dramatic reunion between Sora and Riku and Kairi, I'll be thinking it out and suddenly remember, "Oh yeah, Donald and Goofy are there too."

I'm not sure why - it may be just because I have trouble juggling so many characters at once in my head, since I run into the same problem when I try to work out a scene interacting with the Restoration Committee, or what have you. Characters can get forgotten pretty easily if they're not the main focus of the scene.

... I guess this means I need some scenes where they're the main focus X3;

Well I'm mainly complaining about fanfiction writers who decide to write an entire epic KH3 fic and then leave the Disney out of it for half assed reasons like 'Disney is for BABIES!!' >:/ Disney knows it's way around the subtext fanbrats. Haven't you even seen Aladdin? Or Hunchback of Notre Dame? Or Atlantis? Hell Stitch is basically a substitute for the DEVIL. Why do people not realize these things?!

I love Donald and Goofy. There is a very good reason why I keep those two in my party all the time when I play and it's not because all the world-exclusive characters suck (except for Riku, though he's more or less uber!Goofy). Disney love. ♥

I think I heard a rumor somewhere saying that the next KH game would feature Mickey as the primary playable character (as opposed to Sora). Probably not true, but if it were, I would die of happy be waiting with baited breath for the fandom's reaction.

Confirming existence of this rumor, which I heard from my local anime store owner today. He's... generally on the up and up with that kind of info, so...

He did say Squeenix is making a non-KH Disney RPG, like the Mario RPG, but Disney. :D

Well, I have thr--no, four challenges centered on Donald and Goofy (more the latter than both/the former)... but I have a problem, and that is I'm a procrastinator. In fact, I procrastinate too much. :(

But yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with you. There's a lack of fanstuff featuring them (despite being main characters).
