A month after all that things happened to her, Minho was finally graduated from his master degree and he was being a full-time surgeon on the same hospital he worked at. He was busy almost every day, being a surgeon wasn’t an easy task. People lives are on your hands, if you make a smallest mistake, the result might be different. But it was his choice, his dream, he chose to live that way and she didn’t want to stop him.
Their time to meet was getting lesser and lesser. He rarely dropped her to work and he only picked her up if he was really really free. She felt lonely at that time, thankfully Taemin was always be there for her if she ever needed him, he always had his shoulder for her to cry and he always had his smile to cheer her up if she was down.
She was jokingly wished Taemin was her boyfriend instead of Minho at that time. But she knew she wouldn’t own her cute little brother forever. He was in his adolescence period and he was also falling in love. She couldn’t deny the fact that he would be a real man soon.
On a certain Friday afternoon, Taemin asked her to go out with him. It had been a long time since both of them were hanging out together she thought. It was unusual, but she compiled anyway. She asked him a lot of questions but he only said “You’ll know later”
When they were about to walk out from their apartment, Taemin spoke
“Try to call Minho hyung, sis. Maybe he wants to come with us”
She nodded hesitantly but took out her phone then dialed Minho’s number,
“Hello..” Minho’s deep voice heard from the other line
“Hey, Minho”
“Gwiboonie? What’s wrong?”
“Are you busy now?” She asked him even she already knew the answer. His answer was pretty much the same if she asked him that question.
“Yeah, I’m pretty busy now, and I have a night shift today. Why?”
“Oh. Taemin and I are going out, and I think you want to get along too. It’s been a long time since the last time we went out together. But if you’re busy then.. Yeah… It’s okay..”
“… Sorry”
“No. It’s okay. It’s your job..” She smiled weakly even she knew Minho wouldn’t see her
“I’ll make it up to you next time, okay? Sorry I can’t go along”
“It’s okay Minho. Bye..”
“Bye.. Be careful, okay?” He added
“Yeah..”
She sighed and looked at Taemin. Taemin felt bad to ask her to call Minho, it made her felt lonely even more, he wanted to say sorry but he didn’t want to make the atmosphere worse, so he grabbed her hand and walked outside after pinched her cheek and showed her a small smile.

Gwiboon and Taemin spent a few hours walking together at the mall before they sat on a café. She was drinking an espresso when Taemin suddenly said he wanted to introduce his new girlfriend to her.
She choked on her espresso and coughed for a moment, “Is this the reason you asked me to hang out? How come you didn’t tell me sooner?” She pouted cutely at him
“I’m shy you know” Taemin avoided her gaze by looking somewhere else but her
“So, what’s her name? Since when you two start dating?” She leaned closer to Taemin and grinned
“Eunsook-noona, she’s my senior in my dance team. I just asked her out three days ago”
“She’s older than you?”
“Yeah. She’s around your age..”
“Awww~ My baby is finally falling in love. So you bring her here to introduce her to me?” She pinched his nose.
“Yeah… Kinda.. She’ll be here anytime soon” He only wrinkled his nose but not pushed her fingers off his nose.
They were engrossed on their conversation about Taemin’s girlfriend when a soft voice called Taemin’s name,
“Taeminnie..”
They turned their head to where the voice came. And there stood a fine young lady with her straight long hair and a cute blue ribbon purposely stuck on it, she was wearing a baby blue mini skirt with a white tank top under her pastel pink cardigan. She looked sweet and Gwiboon thought Taemin’s taste on picking a girl wasn’t that bad.
“Hey noona. Here, sit here” Taemin chirped and patting the stool beside him, urged her to sit down there. When she walked to the stool, she slipped once but she managed to grab Taemin’s knee so she didn’t fall down. Taemin looked he was used to that so his face didn’t change like Gwiboon.
“Umm, this is my sister as I told you” He spoke to his girl who was smiling shyly beside him
“Hello “ Eunsook offered her hand to Gwiboon, “I’m Eunsook. Nice to meet you Gwiboon-sshi”
“Nice to meet you too” Gwiboon accepted her hand and smiled.
They talked and talked until Taemin said he wanted to walk around again because his butt was getting a cramp for sitting in such a long time, Eunsook just throw him a sweet smile and Gwiboon thought he was getting ridiculous, how can he said that in front of his girl? But the said girl looked okay with Taemin’s ridiculousness. Gwiboon thought they’re the weirdest couple in the universe.
“So, where do you want to go today?” Eunsook asked both of the siblings when they were already stood outside the coffee shop.
“Anywhere you want is fine” Taemin replied, grinning cheekily.
“Minnie, Eunsook-sshi, I will go by myself. I don’t want to disturb your precious time. Bye~” She winked to him before she walked away quickly even before hearing the couple’s response.
“Your sister is cute” Eunsook said to Taemin after Gwiboon’s back was out of their sight
“Of course, cause she’s my sister!” Taemin said proudly, smirking.
“You must love her a lot”
“Yeah. But don’t be jealous okay?”
She smiled, “I won’t. It’s different kind of love, right?”
He took her fingers and intertwined them before they walked around together.
It was about 2 hours later, Gwiboon was wandering around the mall alone, looked completely bored. She was holding a cup of Starbucks, biting the straw but not drinking it when her eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar figure.
“Oh shit” She turned her heels and tried to walk away, but she was too late because that figure was already seen her.
“Gwiboonnie~” Jonghyun called her as he waved his hands in the air and walked toward her direction.
She slowly turned her body around again and forced a smile, “He-hey”
“Are you alone?” He asked her when he already stood in front of her
“Yeah, as you see” She said awkwardly
“I’m alone too” He pouted and in a second that pout was turning into a smile, “Want to take a walk with me? Oh, mind to help me picking a present for my mom?”
“Oh, o-okay” She agreed and they walked side by side. She was pretending to sip something from the cup even it was only the foam left in the bottom of her drink and he was just shoved his hands into his pocket.
“I think this one is better” Gwiboon told him while her hands were holding a box of beige-colored cup set.
“Really? The blue one looks prettier” Jonghyun raised his eyebrow, pointing to the blue-colored set.
“But your mom doesn’t like vivid color, does she? So this one is better” She insisted, looked kinda annoyed by him.
He stayed quiet for a while, and when she took a breath to speak, he suddenly said softly, “You still remember that?”
She felt heat was creeping on her cheeks, “Hah?” She stared at him confusedly
He smiled and his eyes looked like nothing was happening before, “Ok then, if you said so. I’ll take the beige one”
It was already 10 p.m, Gwiboon and Jonghyun were sitting on the edge of a fountain where was located in the center of the mall. She was eating a strawberry ice cream while he ate the vanilla one.
“Why are you alone here? Where’s your boyfriend?” Jonghyun asked jokingly to her
“He’s busy saving people” She answered flatly. She always felt uncomfortable when Jonghyun started to talk about her boyfriend.
“Because of that then you’re stuck with your ex-boyfriend now”
She shot him an unreadable gaze, but Jonghyun was playing dumb with her. He only mouthed a “What?”, like it was a very normal statement.
“I’m joking” He finally said after a moment of awkward silence.
“Not funny, okay” She licked her ice cream and pointlessly checking her nails, even she knew her nails were perfect already.
“Oh” He suddenly said, turning his body to her direction, “Sunny said to me you didn’t hang with her much nowadays. Something about her bothering you?”
She quickly replied with a no, “Only you and your sweet Sunny won’t bother me” she added under her breath, not wanting Jonghyun to hear it.
“What?” His face was getting closer to her, eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape.
“Nothing” She grinned quickly and continued eating her ice cream.
“Hey, wait. Don’t say you’re jealous..” She could tell he was smirking widely at her
“I’m not” She peeked from the corner of her eye to see him
“You are” He laughed and she just continued eating.
When he stopped laughing, suddenly his hands were reaching into her face. She was surprised, she automatically backed her head away, avoiding his hands.
“You got ice cream on your face, pabo”
“Oh” She said stupidly and let him wiped the ice cream from the corner of her mouth
“Thanks”
She was just continuing to eat her ice cream because she was too shy to say anything to him.
“Aw~ someone is jealous” Jonghyun singsong to tease her again, “Gwiboonnie is jealous~”
“Whatever. I don’t care” She rolled her eyes even though her cheek was getting hot
“I still choose you over her. Don’t worry baby. I will always be faithful to you” Jonghyun said after he got her response
She was not expecting his answer, but she still managed to give him a reply, “Faithful? Look who left me before”
“And look who avoids me when I’m more than willing to get back with her”
She couldn’t answer him. Jonghyun was indirectly asking her back, wasn’t he? What she was supposed to answer him? She wished she didn’t say that earlier.
The atmosphere was getting thicker, both Jonghyun and Gwiboon didn’t say a thing, he was waiting for her answer while she was deep in her complicated thoughts about how to answer him. Luckily her phone rang in a perfect time. She quickly grabbed her phone from her bag and answered it.
“Taeminnie?.... Oh, okay. I’ll be there in minutes”
“I have to get home” She looked at him for a moment and took her bag, “Thanks for today. Bye”
“Bye…”
She left without a single glance back to him and headed to where Taemin was.
