I'm off for a few days FMLA while the kids are out of school for Christmas break. I hope they don't try to make an issue of it. After all, I showed up every day I was supposed to during the Christmas rush, including yesterday and Christmas Eve. Kentucky trip

Hey now-- I went to Fort Campbell with my sister and our 3 dogs to see my nephew who's in the Army out there. If you cant be with your family for Christmas, somethings wrong. so I had no qualms about the trip. It was my sisters idea, and originally she wanted to go around Thanksgiving, but I was already going to Florida for a week right after, so she suggested Christmastime. He's supposed to transfer to Sturtevant, Wisconsin next year to be a fireman in the Army Reserve. He showed me around the complex; its really big, and he also volunteers at the high school there as a wrestling coach, and is an Uber driver on weekends. Ive never been away from home for Christmas so this was a really nice and unique trip. Glad you survived the cold weather, but Ive been out in it many times too
