chris and i went blueberry picking today. i was hoping to get some blacks and some raspberries, too, but they were soooo not ready for us... (i know, i tasted. lots.) but still, im pleased with what we got, and am working on doing delicious things to all of those blue gems. yum ( Read more... )

Blueberry picking sounds fun. I haven't had fresh picked berries like that since I was a kid. My neighbor had a raspberry bush.

When are you going to San Fran? I had a good time there. It's one of the few places I think I could consider relocating to, if not for the earthquake factor.

there are lots of 'pick your own' places in nj. the one i go to is in lawrenceville. it's called terhune orchards, and you can pick EVERYTHING there. EVERYTHING. i love it!

we're leaving on the `19th, and spending a week in SF. i want to move there, and more than likely will in the next few years (well, probably OUTSIDE of the city, but close enough). we're working on the 'plan' now. still need to do a lot... sell the place, find jobs, all that easy stuff. :P so it'll take some time. heh.

Lawrenceville is a hike, but I'll have to check into it anyway. Could be a fun day trip.

And yeah, we're looking into the possibility of relocating too. As our decision gets closer the complications of the actual move are becoming clearer. If only we didn't need jobs, right?
