Festival!
Today was a good day out with a bunch of local folks who were taking part in the Mascot Marathon at the Festival du Voyageur.
I snapped a decent number of photos (still pending review) and Mandy took a couple of short movies with her camera.
Unfortunately, due to frozen boot soles and my over-zealousness in trying to get ahead of the 'suiters to get better light I slipped and fell and may've caused myself some grievous injury.
Like death, but less.
I came down pretty hard on my side, and initially I thought it was only my pride that was injured. Right now I'm full of pancakes and pain killers, so I'll see how I am when I wake up tomorrow. I'm sure I'm going to be stiff tomorrow, but I don't think there's any really damage.
Anyhow, tomorrow being a holiday I'm going to go through my photos and check 'em oot. In the meantime you can check out the very tasty photography of plonq's Festival experience.
