Today was a good day out with a bunch of local folks who were taking part in the Mascot Marathon at the Festival du Voyageur

Ouch... I hadn't realized you'd fallen! I spoke to Corey on the phone later in the day, and when he mentioned it, I said, "Really? He didn't seem to be in pain on the way back to his car or anything..."

I'm sorry to hear about it, in any case. :( Feel better soon!

I actually didn't think it was that big a deal when I actually fell. It "hurt", but no more than any other tumble. And I was probably just more embarrassed at that point than anything!

I was a bit sore wandering around, but nothing too bad. It was after sitting still in the car for a while and then trying to get out again that I really noticed.

I think it'll be a little sore for a while, but as there're no marks it'll probably be a quick heal!

I think that the problem was I didn't heed all the warnings, and my lens was not in its full up-right position at the time of the crash.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that I hit my ribs as hard because I was trying to ensure that the camera in my hands didn't break my fall!
