It is a Good Thing (tm) to discover that the vendor was being a bozo and you didn't actually send out an RFP with bad dates in it.

The discovery that Costco sells tzatziki sauce in bulk is a very fine thing as well.

Faithful readers will recall that sometime in the last month, I've had to replace my hard drive (something weird with the login). Then I had to replace the network card. Yesterday my USB drive ate my homework and today I can't seem to connect wirelessly to the network.

Sigh.

In other news, give a thought to my friend S whose wife got laid off on Friday. They're going to have some adjustments to make, as she was the breadwinner and they're living rather paycheck to paycheck ( Read more... )

It was a fine & lovely weekend. Most things went well. I'm exhausted, but that's not really a surprise.

Tomorrow is a busy day at work, but in a good way. Bosses are out of town but I have a ton of stuff to get done. I need to run errands too.

Weight loss continues, slowly but surely. Need to be better about exercise, especially if lalartu and I are going to follow through on craziness ( Read more... )
