Missile defence in Europe. Further steps.
No doubt that NATO’s missile defense site in Romania and one under construction in Poland is a source of instability in Europe.

So they are talking a lot about these missile defence systems that are being deployed across Europe.
European members of NATO seem to be obsessed by the idea that Iran or Russia are going to attack them in the near future, so they`ve been spending a lot of money on building facilities and stuff to have a BDM on their territories. In my perception ( Read more... ) -

Ukranian army in trouble
I don`t spend a lot of time watching at what`s happening there in Ukraine now but I`ve got some thoughts to write anyway. I watch the news and there are a lot of negative things about the army. NATO faces new problems
What I really want to write about is the accident that happened yesterday in Germany when the two Eurofighter Typhoon jets crashed into each other in the air. This was an ordinary training session and one of the two pilots was found dead. And this is actually awful. Still no good for NATO
About a week ago I wrote about the two NATO exercises that have recently started. I`m talking about Baltops 2019 and Saber Strike 2019. Though Baltops is more about a naval kind of drill, I would still like to pay attention to its aerial part. I still hear a lot of negative feedback considering the technical state of the aircrafts. Today we see that there are more and more NATO military exercises held on the territory of the Baltic states and in fact across all the Eastern Europe. This month there are two major exercises - Baltops 2019 in the Baltic sea and Saber Strike 2019 in Romania.
