Nothing Goes Quickly

After lunch this afternoon, Lisa made a brief rooftop expedition to determine whether it was safe to risk moving the ladders. It was, so as the sun started to break through the clouds, she decided to take a shot at moving them.

...and the white will help with heat reflection in the summer, keeping the interior a bit cooler.

As it happens, that never seems to have been an issue. It's always been surprisingly cool inside that old house, even in the summer. Heating was always a pain.
