As of today, we down to about two weeks worth of firewood. Fortunately, Big R had a couple of pallets of Press-to-Logs in stock, so yesterday I went down and paid for one and put it on hold. This morning, Lisa hitched up the Small Orange Pickup (the Astro is still in the shop and I don't know when I will get it back), we dragged the utility trailer

Something to consider for next year. Now that you own the lot next door. Order several pallets of the logs to be delivered to the lot. Just tell them to send a truck with a forklift to unload them for you. Cover them over with some good tarps to keep the rain off and you have a full winters supply.

We can't afford the minimums. We've checked. The minimum order is more than twice what we typically use in one year, and we'd have to hire a forklift, because they won't unload it.
