Old Hat (and New!)

The hat that I wear most of the time is a style of Jacaru hat that I picked up on my trip to Aussiecon Four and found that I really liked. I have run through three of them so far, as I'm apparently hard on my hats, but I'd rather the hats wear out than my head, particularly now that my hair is so thin on top.

That is a nice hat. I'm a big fan of hats, having had rosacea for decades and needing to keep my face out of the sun.

I got a great vintage hat from Ellie Farrell, one of those little top-of-the-head purely decorative hats that women used to wear in the 1950s. It's turquoise, an asymmetrical shape, with a short fishnet veil. I plan to wear it to church when we can go back to church again. Cons, too, in the future.
