This evening, Lisa was puttering around the property and taking trash to the dumpster when she saw and heard sounds coming from the railroad tracks that should not be happening. She came in and told me, "I think there's a truck stuck on the railroad tracks

Those people have no idea how lucky they are they you live by the tracks and are so observant and responsible.

I tend to agree. We are the kind of neighbors I think the railroad wants to have, and we've done our best to ingratiate ourselves with the railroad worker living and working here in Fernley so they know that Lisa and I are not just "foamers" but responsible rail enthusiasts.

The guy with the truck had the nerve to act resentful that the railroad was in his way, as far as I could tell. There's not even a road there! Goodness only knows where he thought he was going.
