Summer Snow

Maybe we swapped the swamp cooler and the firewood a few days too soon, as snow came back overnight. A late storm out of the Gulf of Alaska came through yesterday and last night, putting a few inches of snow in the Sierra (chain controls went back up for a while) and giving us high winds and rain in Fernley.

The Sierras are going nuts. Skiing is still happening every weekend, and July 4 weekend. Then weekend by weekend after that. They are keeping the skiing going because the snow is too deep for summer activities. Oops.
Meanwhile, we have heat advisories in the Bay Area this weekend. Glad the house has a/c and solar.
