[LiveJournal continues to act up. I can't change the default user icon. I can't see user comments if I'm logged in. I do still get e-mail notifications of comments posted to my journal. These problems are on multiple browsers, I've reported them. Whether LJ decides to fix them, I don't know. I don't want to leave LJ inasmuch as I have a life ( Read more... )

The issues seem to be resolving themselves; you can get around them in the interim by disabling Javascript if you wish.

And I hear you on the permanent account thing, though the news that they've just moved all of the servers to Russia has me wondering how long the site will stay up. But gridlore and I just let our paid Dreamwidth accounts lapse for financial reasons, and I dislike the imbalance.

Ah, comments are showing up again, as well as the userpic choices.

Yeah, I'm leery of that server move as well.

but, but, our new fearless leader in the USA is so friendly with Russia, and business oriented!
Surely, he wouldn't let anything happen to a USA company that is moving to Russia?
