List Bankruptcy

After scanning the first twenty or so messages of the over 300 backlogged set on The List That Shall Not Be Named, and at the advice of others, I declared bankruptcy and deleted the rest without reading. And I'm not reading the further follow-ons that closely, either, unless they manage to raise something interesting in the first few lines.

I also gave up on those threads. Unfortunately since I get the list on digest, it's tough to spot the modest number of other useful posts in the digest at present.
On a list known for them I've rarely seen so much misinterpretation in the worst way possible, talking past each other, defensive offensiveness and narrow-mindedness on a single topic.
