I did not expect this kind of fic either given the lines prior to the lj-cut @.@ And I do not know who to "root for" in this fic because really you can't blame either party for reacting the way they did.
But little Mike is adorable 8D
Poor Kevin @.@

Definitely not what I was expecting...but in such a deliciously dark way.
When I first read the opening lines I was like "YAY! Little! Mike!" I believe he probably would treat it like an intergalactic polo pony. He treats it the way he would any animal he wanted to train.
Then he realizes the horrible truth.
I can completely understand his horror because he realizes the thing he's been treating like an animal isn't an animal at all. Also...it could be him. I think that freaks him out too. The way the energy flows back and forth between them.
Wow. This Kev is pretty far gone. He doesn't even seem to realize he turne dhuman again. If he does, it takes a backseat to revenged.
Yes, poor Mike. He had dreams of the two of them galloping over the open plains, and Kevin was all, "Hell no, bitch, I ain't no steed! Also: I'm crazy!"
Kevins gone wild.
>>Also...it could be him. I think that freaks him out too<<
Totally. As Mike probably saw it: that boy was bad, and being punished for something, and he himself hasn't been exactly good. And years later he does get punished in much the same way.
Wow! This is a fascinating, wonderful concept. Linking these characters this way has so many fun implications. In the current show time, does Mike know Kevin was his pet monster? It seems absurd to think Kevin wouldn't realize who Mike is- so do you think he was bottling in it up, too ashamed to admit his past to Ben and Gwen?
I actually figure Kevin wouldn't remember this at all: his mind is pretty much completely gone. I like to imagine much of Kevin's time in the Null Void was spent in a rage black-out, and that that's a small kindness.
Part of me is disappointed to hear that, but it does make a lot of sense. He's the type that would experience that, plus black-outs can help explain the drastic character change between the two series.

Literally, here. X3
Mike's idea to ride him is just LOLZY, but something EVERY little kid would probably want to do. Kids want to ride big, potentially dangerous things.

Kevin would be the coolest bicycle in town.
