Devlins save the day.

I would enjoy something about Devlin at 16: him dealing with being what he is, and being part of Alien Force (either publicly or secretly, however you see them in a few years) during a time when he's all full of hormones and maybe interested in dating. Maybe what you see his powers as being like by then, and his relationship with the 10K-ers, even how you think he'll feel about 11K when he's older. You know: stuff.

Amazing.
This was so beautiful on so many levels.
I got all choked up.
I KNOW they're going to the 10K-verse, but for some reason I kept getting a Little Match Girl vibe from Devlin...who is such a sweetheart at 16.

Mutant Kevin heroism is pure love at this point. He gave up so much and helped so many people that he himself got left behind. Gwen's married, Ben's a hero.
Kevin is alone in a cell.
The 10K-verse does need a Him like Him.
I wonder what will happen when he gets there?
I know it will be pure amazing.

I thought Devlin would like the chance to do for a Kevin what a Kevin once did for him. Because 16 year old Devlin is a hero.

Heh, well, I'm sure Gwendolyn knows they're coming: it's her portal Devlin came through, but 10K might be a little surprised. I think he'll be very proud when he learns what this Kevin has been up to, and I think he'll eventually trust the mutant, and help Gwendolyn nurse him back to health. While 10K's family is very important to him, and he and Gwen are still close, he doesn't seem like he has many friends to me. I like to think that, although Kevin will probably be retired from heroing (he deserves it) he and Ben will be able to become friends, and that Kevin will look after Kai and the kids and Max and Gwen when Ben is off fighting. That way Kevin doesn't feel useless and Ben knows they're safe (even though, really, they can take care of themselves). And if 11K ever shows up again, he's in for a very nasty surprise.

I like that Gwendolyn helped Devlin go get him. Maybe she needs this Kevin too X3
The kids will have a lovable mutant babysitter and everyone will love the big guy....even is Kai and Ben are a little suspicious at first.
16 year old Devlin is such a hero in this. He doesn't say much, but the way he's written just screams it. Great job.

11K is in for a nasty surprise if he shows up.

I think Kenny will be especially helpful in this. He's very open minded, even at 10. I think he's a surprisingly good judge of character, despite how he and Dev first met.

Kevin has been in the Null Void for about twenty years now fighting off stuff like 11K. He would rip him to shreads.
