If you're looking for a way to donate more but haven't got the funds, maybe you could post an offering on help_haiti, for knitting or something? There have been a fair number of people posting offerings of knitting or crocheting, and those seem to be going over fairly well. I bid $25 on a crocheted dinosaur for Aidan, though I expect I'll be outbid because it was insanely cute. :-)

The way it works is that the winning bidder for an item makes a donation in the amount of their bid to a Haiti-related charity of their choice (as long as it's a known, reputable charity) and sends the person who posted the item a copy of the receipt. But I think when posting an item you can suggest a charity - I put MSF on mine.

I haven't the time for making extra things, unfortunately. I need to conserve my materials for new-baby knitting and my time for sock/sweater/new-baby knitting. I just sink at the notion of adding more to my miles-long knitting queue. BUT this is a good idea, generally speaking.

I'm happy with my donation decision.
