me too. I just left class cause I didn't wanna do stuff. *sigh* I'm supposed to have my period, but it's not here. I feel like ass and want to poke stuff up there just to get it flowing I'm in agreement with the tribes that send their women off to a different hut when they have their periods. get me OUT OF HERE. at least I don't have a wet, bumped and poked crying boy. *hug* you have my sympathy!
Ugh, what a morning! *hugs* Oh, got my days figured out this week: W and I are available Wed and Fri during the day and/or the family is available Sunday. :) Let me know what works for you guys.
I agree with you about nuclear families. This whole idea that one or two people should be able to handle all responsibility for raising a child, in near-isolation from anyone else, is really a pretty historically recent and culturally specific one - not the way most kids throughout history and around the world have been raised. Villages, tribes, extended families, etc. are more the human norm.
But hey, if it helps any, it looks like I am not going to the family reunion after all. So this part of your tribe/village will be available to take the Smallest off your hands for a while this weekend.

I wish I were in a position to help out and occupy Smallest for a while so you could rest, but I'm in a drugged coma o'cramps over here. :(
