I've actually been contemplating growing a bamboo fence! I didn't think about the CO2 aspects of it, holy cow it sounds even more awesome now!

If you do so on the edge of a property, be ware the roots! The things spread like mad, I've seen them popping up over a meter away from the main stand even for small varieties. This can make neighbors rather grouchy.

That said, it sounds really cool and I bet it'll look great.

I've been looking into "clumping" bamboo, which is different than the usual "invasive root" (or spreading root) type of bamboo. But yeah, that is exactly why I haven't planted bamboo yet... my neighbors already hate us b/c we don't mow/ rake as much as we should!

And here I was, thinking it's only the animal cruelty that made meat taste so darn good! Now I find out it's the animal cruelty AND greenhouse emissions! ;)

There's plenty of good reasons not to eat meat. Sadly, none of them taste as good as a bacon cheeseburger.

All things in moderation, m'dear. The reason why bacon cheeseburgers taste so fucking amazing is because you don't eat them every damned day. Having such things every once in a while means you appreciate them even more and savour the hell out of them.

I'm salivating profusely now. Thanks. :-P

When I'm on the rag, I would totally eat them every day. I think it's an iron thing. :P

yay! but don't get too attached to them. I doubt I'll be anywhere near the computer after the babies come, which will be sometime in the next 3 weeks.
