A Tome in Four Parts

Can I just say once again how much I LOVE FAM [fertility awareness method]? I Love it. I do I do I do.

Wherein there are many TMIs about menstrual cycles. Read at your own risk. )

fam, mixed blessings, adventure, health, good things, bedroom, painting, hormones, ack!, depression, plants

That's really interesting; I had no idea you could tell so much. (I vaguely wonder if I should start monitoring myself like that to make sure I stay not pregnant! [grin]) I also recently chopped the major source of dairy out of my diet -- it's now rice milk chai rather than dairy chai, and I'm ordering almost all my drinks when eating out sans milk. (ravenblack sent me this completely disgusting article on the nutritional value of milk, and while many of its points were valid, it was referring to milk as "liquid meat" that did it for me. Eeeew.) I do still have the occasional morning yogurt or evening 1/4 cup of ice cream, but I'm probably having a tenth of the dairy I used to.

Yay, time together with your sweetie!

yeah, i know. i really need to figure out where i'll put it, though! it'll probably end up in the living room, sticking out like a sore (but well-loved and oft-used) thumb.

thank you! i'm more apt to go for the traditional rockers, as it gives more of an arc motion, rather than a back-forth motion. i feel less autistic that way. *snerk ( ... )

We're the same way -- we like using the smallest bedroom in the house as our room. Our clothes actually go in another room (the "dressing room!!" HAHAHAHA) tho right now, the diaper changing station, which also has all Rem's clothes, in is our shared bedroom.

And yay for FAM and Omega 3s and Vitex :D

yeah, Lynx's clothing will be in our bedroom and mine will be in her office. She sleeps way later than me, so this way, I don't have to bother her when I'm getting dressed in the morning.

i have NO idea what I'm going to do about diapers and whatnot. I'll have to see how crowded the bedroom ends up being.

We did it like that before, too -- M's clothes in another room (since I slept in) and then mine in our bedroom. But in this house, our bedroom closet is *tiny*, so it's got the dirty clothes hamper in it.

Are you planning on doing cloth? Have you thought about EC? (I'd do that, but I'm just too overwhelmed being a new-mom most of the time).

My friend who has a smaller house put her diaper changing station in their dining room (which is right next to the bedroom and isn't used as a dining room). It really can go anywhere, we just put it in the bedroom b/c it fits there.

I'm totally doing cloth. hell yeah. i know I have problems with non-breathable pads, so I don't want to give baby heat rash from non-breathable diapers. and a whole host of other stuff that goes along with disposables. one-use items bug the crap outta me. so wasteful.

I've definitely considered EC. I hope I can do it, but I'm not holding my breath. I really don't want to have to change diapers for multiple years, though, so we'll see how it goes.

Nettle tea is rather tasty- mild, but with a bit of peppermint color and slight flavor.
