I did know that habitual scooting was a sign that the glands needed to be expressed, but in your defense I wouldn't say (from what I witnessed) that she was "continuously" scooting. I only see her do it two or three times a month.

How is it that Kiska only manages to get the injuries that require a humiliating treatment? Cone of embarassment? Shaved butt? It's just bizarre. If Kiska were a human she's have a total complex. That, or I'd suspect it was a fetish.

I used to go to Dr Toole when I had my cats. He really made a wonderful impression on me. And yes, he is also a wonderful vet and very understanding of things like 'poor student.'
