I get paid tomorrow. Got my paystub today and found that I'm getting paid for one more week than I thought. I get 4 weeks' worth of pay all at once. This... is mind boggling for me. ING is not bad. The lack of service fees is refreshing. Even the basic savings accounts beats the tar out of regular bank SA's.

Call them up, they'll send you a nice kit, and it's pretty easy from there. And you can just get your payroll people to toss 'x' amount per cheque into that one, and the balance into your regular chequing account.

P.S. Happy belated. I'm still upset I wasn't able to come by, but I hope you had a wonderful time.

I was looking at pdas at the Telus store the other day. Apparentlym, they are really pushing the data packages, so you could prolly convince them to give you the deal. Also, you may want to consider a Blackberry.. their deal used to be you had to take at least and 80/month package to get the discounted Blackberries.. but they dropped that to 45. Finally, watch those data packages.. the extra MB fee for some of their packages is 30 bucks PER EXTRA MB over they really small (.5 MB and up) limit.

I'm not too worried about the data charges, as I don't really intend to use it for e-mail or web surfing. I have a computer for that. :-) I mainly just want it to be a phone + organizer, so that all my contacts, calendar, things to do, etc. are in one place (and can be synced with my computer ( ... )
