Yeah, I'm not here to say all filipinos are evil or anything. And you're right, we all got different perspectives from our personal experiences from the people we meet and how we're introduced to cultures. I've got a few friends who ARE filipino. I suppose I've just seen too many filipinos who bug me.... even from my own family. ;p (but mostly from school and the local area... I live in a filipino-heavy area.)
LEAVE THE FILIPINOS ALONE!!! They're HUMANS!!! T_T
nah j/k freakin filipinos need to lower down their pride levels. And not by a notch, a whole hell amount of notches. I remember this one time when Manny Pacquiao had recently won whatever match it was and my parents were watching some tv. Then the AT&T commercial featuring Floyd Mayweather came on and stated how he was the top in so and so class. And then my mom snickers in a comment, "Until you get punched in the face by PACQUIAO!" and I'm like...UGHHHH seriously? As she put, he's the pride of the Philippines...a boxer...who tried singing karaoke on tv and....is running for office last I heard...
On your topic uh...well I guess I don't count despite I'm not a huge fan of the food, but the bf seems to like pancit and yeah...I think that's all I've given him so far.
Yeah, a friend of mine likes pancit too... but it's one of the few things that I think people can tolerate. And I bet I can find any noodle dish on a chinese menu that people would prefer over pancit. :P
Filipino food is not great. I do like a few things, but it's probably, as a whole, one of my least favorite styles of cuisine. The cuisine seems like it borrows dishes from a bunch of other cultures' foods, but they're slightly different, and always in a worse way.
Pretty much. Their cuisine is like a mix of chinese, hispanic, and american food, all stirred up together, and then something went wrong, and falls flat.
But Ethiopian cuisine is delicious. They aren't thin and starving due to lack of food. If they had the foundation, Ethiopia would be full of well-fed fat people.
