Odd Fashion Question

OK, so do you remember back in, like, 1992 or so, when everyone was wearing those floral-print dresses and things-that-looked-like-dresses-but-actually-had-pantlegs that buttoned up the front? The name just flew out of my mind, but you can get them at the dollar store or any place that sells Chinese clothes or Indian clothes, especially the tacky weird rayon stuff.
They DO have a name...but my brain is distracted by the fact that I am singing along to "I Remember You" by Skid Row...this job can be so dangerous!

(I have this sundress that is comfy and has a gorgeous pattern on it, but is big enough in the waist that it looks like I'm carrying triplets.)

I still have a few of my thingies like that...and now wouldn't you know it I absolutely CANNOT think of the name. ESPECIALLY not with "Its the end of the world as we know it" now playing. Yikes! What is this Sara's Favorite Song Day???

try any fabric stores, walmart, joann's, michaels... or, would the dress work with a thick belt? belted just under the boobs? (that spot works better for me)... there are lots of thick belts out there now ( ... )
