"Kriffing?" Look, if you used new (to her!) words around Firekeeper, she was gonna ask about them. It was how she rolled. "And how you was knowing I back?" Three weeks didn't do much for her language skills.
Dinah was wandering in from a day shopping, but stopped outside 338 when she saw the door open. "Finally! Dudes! Have you been out in the Preserve all this time?"
"Next time you do that, I am so getting you a cell phone so you can call and check in so we know you're okay," Dinah said, wandering over to give Blind Seer a hello-skritch behind the ears. "There were zombies!"
Which worked out nicely because Blind Seer had hopped off the bed with the intention of pestering Dinah for ear-skritches. "Zombies? Real kind?" she'd seen ones on TV, and fought them in the room that made not-real things, but had never thought about the possibility of them actually showing up. "What is cell phone?"
