Original fiction meme - Day 11

11. Who is your favorite character to write? Least favorite?

This changes with time, because I don't always keep the same relationship with my stories.

Favourite character to write: Ewan Doyle in Was. He proved tons of fun to write, and things have been even better in that regard since I started writing him in Mage, and added Grendel and Adrian in the original story. He tends to do/think pretty random stuff at times-geeky references, quoting movies ("Come with me if you want to live!"), bickering with Grendel, and overall, he just brings me so much fun, even when he's deep into serious stuff.

Least favourite character to write: Althea in Over Yonder (my unfinished-and probably never to be finished-NaNovel 2006). I had decided to write that story in 1st person POV; even now, I still wonder if I had done things right regarding her. She's the daughter of a tailor, and everytime I wrote, I always wondered if the language I used was appropriate for someone from such a social background, if her vocabulary was right or not... and so on. It's too bad, because I still think she's interesting, but I've never managed to 'find' her the way I found other chars.
