The memories that never existed

Recently again I've been struck with this weird feeling, and I can't explain it. I know, of course, of forgetting little things and then seeing the memories coming back later on... I know also of the feeling of déjà-vu, which is something all of us probably experience at one moment or another... but what about having clear memories of things that ( Read more... )

That's freaky!! Especially the second instance! O_O Who knows...it could've been fragments of memories pieced together. Though the source of the memories no doubt is a mystery. :o

Yeah, I've been wondering a lot about this one. As said it's a very old memory, I had it as a child already (I think I must've asked my parents about it when I was 9 er 10 or something), so I really doubt I had heard of the place before. Hum, good timing on this Yza, just last night I had one of the strongest senses of Deja Vu ever. That means a lot considering I have Deja-Vu pretty often compared to most sane normal people. :P

It's just so damn weird. I had a Deja Vu fit about Second Life once, too... that I remember having "dreamt"(it's the only way I can express the feeling of Deja Vu) I was playing this game that was like "this and that"(SL). And it's not like it'll ever happen concerning trivial things, sometimes they're actually significant things. *gets chills*

Same here, hehe. sometimes I don't have any for 2-3 weeks, and then all of a sudden they rush in and I can have several a day o_O Maybe we're both not-so-sane then, which is fine, because what is sane anyway ;)

I'm still completely confused regarding these déjà-vu feelings - never properly understood what was causing them. When I was a kid I liked to think that it was me "having dreamt of the future, and now things were happening as I had predicted them", but of course it's always nicer to think I have super-powers than to realize I'm nuts *LOL*
