We just got back from Puerto Rico and it was fantastic.
I didn't want to come back. Of course it didn't hurt that we were staying at a fantastic resort.

The first day it rained so we didn't go to Old San Juan but we did get our first delicious taste of mofongo and Medalla. Two of my new favourite things.

Today is one I those days when I have to struggle to get my ass to work. I just want to call in, stay home and be creative and draw or paint or something! I never have any time, which is mostly my fault but still won't stop me from complaining.

Well, I did it. I finished my first 5k 4:41 better than I thought I would but 19 seconds shy of my goal. And I'm kicking myself because of it. 19 seconds.

I've had an awful few days. DB has reared his ugly head and I've been dealing with that emotional baggage. I can't even talk about it, it's just so...frustrating.

This weekend was beautiful and sunny and warm. The pool water was too cold for me but that certainly wouldn't stop my crazy kids who've been begging to swim even in the colder months.

Yesterday Skylar and I went for our couch to 5K right after work so I could have guilt free drinks with dinner. First of all I love running right after work. I was more energetic to finish things around the house, I loved having time to be lazy after the kids went to bed, and I really enjoyed going with Skylar. This weekend a girl child in Skylars class had a birthday party at the humane society. I looked ahead to see what dogs they had to seen if it would be a problem. There was a small white German Shepard but since it was days before the party I thought the likelihood of her still being there was small.
