This was the second of two fics that I wrote the other night; but has grown from an attempted drabble, into a triple. It wanted to be short, but not as short as I originally thought it to be.

Yup; seemed like something Faith would call him. I thought Carpenter or Wood-man, but there's another Wood in her life so confusing; besides he doesn't have a moral high road over Faith's head; what with her attempted Rape/Murder in S3.

I was writing it and trying to figure out how to and the original drabble length version and suddenly Kendra's, "It's who you are." to Buffy came into my head.

Fortunately without the accent :-)

You should check out jetwolf's series; I doubt the thing will be completed now, but the Season 8 stories are worth reading as a complete story of their own.

Whatever plans were there for S9 and on we'll likely never know, but anyone can take them and go where they will.

No Spike, and only one appearance by the LA gang, and that in S9 as I recall.
