I just got back from the store, and while I was carrying the bags into the house my dog greeted me with her usual bouncing joy to see me again. Whether I've been gone an hour or a day she greets me like she hasn't seen me in a year. I mention this to Flamingo from time to time and I'll say it here--I was a nervous wreck meeting her for the first time in 2001. I mean, it was FLAMINGO, and she wrote TEotH and was this huge star to me... fast forward a few years and she's drinking coffee in my kitchen.

You felt shy in 2004? I hope I was welcoming to you... that whole con is such a blur to me because it was the year I premiered six new zines, including Evolution 1 & 2, which was such a gigantic project. I know it was the con where I first met Molo. A lot of it is a blur!
