So Daniel's little make-shift mouse/rat contraption failed. Last night I came home and all of his work was in the middle of the bathroom floor. The mouse (mice or rats or whatever it is) were able to chew through it and make their way back into the apartment somewhere. So I immediately call Daniel for back-up and promptly leave the apartment. Why

We had mice in our house a few years ago.
I caught them with a hammer.

Yeah, but I don't know that you'll want me hanging around in your bathroom long enough to remove mice with a hammer. It does work pretty well, though. You hit them with the hammer, which slows them down a LOT. Then you are free to scoop them up and throw them outside. They don't even come back in because the hammer slows them down just that much.

I don't care how you do it, I just need someone to actually do something. It's driving me mad that I know they are in my apartment and I can see them and do nothing about it. The traps and poison so far haven't done much. We'll see what happens when I call the complex and/or get home tonight.

You DEFINITELY need to call NOW, and say your peace. You PAY to live in a place that doesn't have other things living there. Those are unsafe living conditions (okay, so they're really not, but you know what I mean), and it's inappropriate.

THEY should be handling the traps and the hole, and all of that .

They open at 9 and believe me I will be on the phone all day if I have to be in order to make sure someone shows up there TODAY to take care of this immediately. I can NOT and will NOT allow this to go on beyond today.

LOL! Mice are like the one thing I *can* handle living with...Insects? I'm gone and out of the house with BOMBS going off in less than 10 minutes.

If the current methods don't work...call an exterminator. It's what they do for a living.

Supposedly an exterminator is coming to the apartment today to take care of things. He damn well better or I will call and let the complex have it all over again. I am NOT handling this well.

I have to ask, how can you handle mice? They scurry. Eeekkkk!!!
