Don't Touch Me...

So Daniel's little make-shift mouse/rat contraption failed. Last night I came home and all of his work was in the middle of the bathroom floor. The mouse (mice or rats or whatever it is) were able to chew through it and make their way back into the apartment somewhere. So I immediately call Daniel for back-up and promptly leave the apartment. Why ( Read more... )

LOL! Mice are like the one thing I *can* handle living with...Insects? I'm gone and out of the house with BOMBS going off in less than 10 minutes.

If the current methods don't work...call an exterminator. It's what they do for a living.

Supposedly an exterminator is coming to the apartment today to take care of things. He damn well better or I will call and let the complex have it all over again. I am NOT handling this well.

I have to ask, how can you handle mice? They scurry. Eeekkkk!!!

Mice...Um...As a child, I had a pet mouse I'd feed my scraps to, mom saw it but couldn't ever catch it....It would sit on my shoulder and we'd have long conversations.

Mom is terrified of them. I guess I just always saw them as sweet furry little things to play with not scary. Bugs on the other hand? SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Seriously. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't think that quite covers how I feel. *grin*

So essentially you have the fear of insects that I have of these mice. It's seriously debiltating. I won't make it through much of the day today without calling the complex every five minutes to ask if they've taken care of it yet.

I did give them my phone number and told them to call me immediately the moment they know anything. I fully intend to go by the complex after work and make sure it's been taken care of before I go home and they are closed for the night.

Yeah pretty much, though I just bomb the crap out of the house (like 2x the recommended amount, by gods those things best be DEAD), when I have problems. :)
