Car troubles...

Soo yeah I was going to class not too long ago and the car stalled after I started to accelerate after a signal going green. Basically what happened was the car stalled when I pressed the gas past a certain point. I ended up having to turn into a driveway at the last second because the car stalled completely

That light means JESUS CHRIST STOP THE ENGINE NOW OR HELL HATH ITS FURY. Just buy a quart of oil and top it up x.o

Its a green 1998 Malibu.

Actually I mean to SAY the oil light WENT OFF and STAYED OFF. And Yes I don't ever plan on doing that. I'm not that horrible of a person to drive my only mode of transportation into the ground.

That sounds like a similar deal to one point we still had the Plymouth Breeze. Turned out a wire had come loose on the distributor. Plugged it back in - good as new.
