If you were asked this question, how would you respond?

This is real and I need some help.

A friend of mine accepted Christ as his/her Savior yet, they were not living for Him when they were in an accident and died. Will the person be in Heaven or go to Hell?

I need proof, biblically. I believe, he/she would be in Heaven and God would hold him
