This is real and I need some help.
A friend of mine accepted Christ as his/her Savior yet, they were not living for Him when they were in an accident and died. Will the person be in Heaven or go to Hell?
I need proof, biblically. I believe, he/she would be in Heaven and God would hold him/her accountable for the knowledge they knew while on earth reguarding how to serve Him.
A member at church does not see it that way...this is why I am putting this out here and hope to get some good input on the suject. The member at church just lost a son-in-law that was saved but, was drinking while driving and well, you know the rest of the story.
