Gender in the Supernatural Fandom

Oct 22, 2007 22:42

In a project I am doing for an anthropology course, I am looking at gender in fan culture. My focus is on the Supernatural fandom, because of course I'm trying to tie in something I love just so I can troll forums as "research."
But, seriously, this post is for discussing gender (that means both males and females, now) in the Supernatural fandom.

Please Post a Comment Reply as to your gender, and also if you know other people that don't participate in the fandom (e.g. forums, websites, LiveJournal communities, etc.) please post how many you know and what gender they are.

An example: "I am a female and I know two other female fans that don't participate in the fandom."

This way I can compile data of "non-fandom participants" and "fandom participants" and their genders.
