I'm in the papers today

I got a pleasant surprise today, being in a large article in the St Andrews Citizen about my lawsuit reclaiming bank charges and an equal amount with respect to damages. Being in the paper for achieving something good kind of makes me feel all warm and centred ( Read more... )

You're totally right Marco. The number of factual inaccuracies in this article is just shocking. I cannot believe a paper which reports weekly goings on in the University and the Students' Association can get things so wrong. Even in the first line of the article there are three mistakes. Kenny is not in 4th year. (Or did you lie to them Kenny?) He is not doing engineering. He is not the first student to claim these expenses back. What is more infuriating is the statement from Laura which she NEVER made. Needless to say a complaint will be submitted from the Association. This, coupled with countless spelling and grammar errors in the piece about the 4 new sabbs is enough for us to question the worth of this paper.

Yeah it doesn't mention it was a small claims action.

I was never spoken to by the paper either. Pretty sloppy work.

I liked being commended for my 'bravery' though.
