Little Big Planet update
This morning, after less than 2.5 weeks of playing, my 5 year old son completed the last level. Now he still has at least a couple of locked side levels that he hasn't done and a bunch of items uncollected, but he's usually not that interested in trying to get "100%" on video games. There's no other explanation
I can't catch up on recorded TV or start playing Fallout3 (that I got for Christmas, but haven't started yet because we were on vacation) because my wife, who never plays video games, is playing LittleBigPlanet... -

A day with GG
Friday morning Star had a doctor's appointment, so Rachel and I met my mother at her office and picked up Andrew. We then went to GG's house. She is their paternal Great-Grandmother (hence GG); my father's mother. She adopted "GG" as that was what my brother, her eldest grandchild, named her mother when he was little ( Read more... ) -
My Challenge
So I've frequently thought about trying to post more often (okay some at all). A combination of my natural tendency toward extreme introversion, getting bogged down with trying to put too much content in one post, constantly feeling behind on many other more important efforts and just plain procrastination have kept me from doing anything with ( Read more... ) -
Andrew has a little sister!
Yesterday at approximately 8:45pm, Star’s water broke. After some scampering around (Star was in the middle of cleaning her car and had pulled out the car seats, floor mats, and other items) we left for the hospital. First, the big news!
Yesterday at 5:30 am, Star's water broke. By the time we got to the hospital around 6:15 am, she had started getting contractions. We spent all morning working through the contractions and Star was doing wonderfully and was able to manage the pain pretty well, but by 12:00pm, she hadn't really progressed much (she went from about 1-1.5 cm to 2cm ( Read more... )
