llama in a nutshell

I've been a busy llama lately. Let me 'splain. No, is too much -- let me sum up. This is just since Friday:

* somewhat absurd dinner/symposium with colleagues
* a chilly drive to chicago
* a splendid day with hernes_moon and a whole mess of butterflies
* finally seeing Maria's Field, starring the lovely and talented hernes_moon and a bunch of her marvelously gifted co-

You started this whole, "Be a peacock" thing. I have declared it The Year Of The Peacock. So shall it be.

And maybe NEXT year will also be The Year Of The Peacock, since it's working out so well this time.

You have been busy! Hmmm, since Friday I have:

* had more energy due to a marvelous wellness formula my natural food store recommended
*been snuggling with J on the couch watching Star Trek
*went to see Avenue Q which was fabulously cute and racey
*had a nice date with J
*went to a birthday dinner out for a good friend
*attended church as a church member for the first time in 5 months and loved it
*had dinner two nights with my friend Michelle
*went to classes
*studied!

On the horizon.....
*lunch with a friend today
*cooking some wonderful vegetarian meals on my own
*attending the first session of Cakes for the Queen of Heaven, a UU Goddess curricula
*hopefully getting my voice all the way back so I can talk to kenllama on the phone

unusual?

unusual Co dinner

Josh, Cody, Steve, and Dan prepped a "gamer Co dinner" -- it was pretty much all food from the freezer section, along with mountain dew and kool-aid. a little more pre-processed than the usual fare! a different population too, as many of the usual suspects were not feeling well (and not likely to feel better fed on gamer fodder!)

Since you asked, since Friday, has:

Had lunch at Dressel's with the parents Saturday. Dressel's is a pub celebrating jazz, classical music, American literature, and all things Welsh. If they would let me live there, I would.

Bought Bissinger's chocolate for belated V-Day celebration with the sweetie.

Attended a student production of "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," by noted American humorist Steve Martin. The sweetie and I both loved it!

Ate chocolate, ate cheese, drank wine, snuggled . . . and more!

Met on Sunday with STL Feri group. Heard mystical tales of Pantheacon and Muir Woods.

Did NOT watch Oscar Telecast, thus preserving my streak of Perfect Non-Attendance.
