Holden and I have had a Rough Week. Trouble sleeping, meltdowns, behaviors, the works. I've been trudging through cuz I know he has phases and he might just be bored or he needed to go to my ma's for the night or something and the end of it would come soon

I'm not defending those people, but being very much NOT a kid person myself... If I was hanging out somewhere and somebody's kid kept coming over and bothering my stuff, it would annoy me. (You handled it fast though, so it wouldn't annoy me that much.)
And as I'm sure you know, there's a lot of people that believe that autistics are retards that should pretty much be kept on a leash at all times.

Yeah it's still bullshit, but at least you had soem really good in there to counter it.

But he only did it twice. The first time he just looked and smiled (not out of the ordinary for any almost-6yo) and the second time he poked. I understand the poking would be a bother and I was about to apologize and explain what was going on but the guy didn't even give me a chance! He just stood up in my face and instantly confronted me. If he had allowed me to apologize and then told me in a polite manner that it bothered him he would've found out that I would've done everything in my power to keep Holden away from him.

There's a difference between not liking kids and being a giant prickface asshole. ;)
